Paul Thompson presenting at 2019 Sustainability Symposium on 5/3


Paul Thompson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, CPHC, NCIDQ will be presenting with a group from the AIA Philadelphia Committee on the Environment at the 2019 Sustainability Symposium on May 3 in Philadelphia. The presentation will be in a "pecha kucha" format and is titled “The AIA COTE® Top Ten Toolkit: Closing the information gap.” The toolkit is a spreadsheet developed by a group at AIA National that helps document and guide a project’s sustainable mission by looking at 10 issues – energy, community, economy, etc.

This is Green Building United's 9th annual Sustainability Symposium, happening May 3rd at Penn State at The Navy Yard. The Symposium is a full day of educational sessions covering cutting edge green building and sustainability topics and industry best practices, including LEED, Passive House, Living Building Challenge, Enterprise Green Communities, WELL, green stormwater infrastructure, and 2030 Districts. Hear experts from across the region and beyond as they gather to discuss their current work, opportunities for social, environmental, and economic impact, and challenges ahead in the sustainability field.
