IEI is honored to have provided architectural and design services on the historic renovation of the iconic Curtis Institute of Music, located at 1726 Locust Street in center city Philadelphia, recently showcased in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The project includes a building addition, roof improvements, interior alterations, modern upgrades, and restoration of beautiful historical details for this internationally-recognized music conservatory. The original structure dates back to 1924 and is historically registered with the Philadelphia Historical Commission. Curtis wanted to make the building more accessible and open to students and visitors, and we are so proud to be a part of this project.
